This 5-day just mornings short course will be on "Fitting Geostatistical and Spatial Point Process Models to Spatial Survey Data", with Prof. Janine Illian, CREEM, University of St Andrews, Scotland.
This short course is aimed for statisticians and ecologists who are interested in learning about spatial statistics, how to fit spatial Bayesian models with R and R-INLA, with a special emphasis on fitting models to data from animal abundance surveys via distance sampling.
